An old house immersed in the Catalan countryside and surrounded by a triumph of red roses, friends come from all over the world, smoke bombs, a masked ball, a bride with angel wings, Mercutio singing the song "Young hearts run free", a fortune teller who reads tarot ...
The wedding of Caroline and her Stephane was something I had never seen before.
From the early morning, the weather didn't seem to promise well and it was quite complicated to manage a light that could change completely in a few seconds, especially during the ceremony in the garden. But fortunately it never rained and everything took place in the best possible way.
Thanks to the incredible creative spirit of Rebecca aka Barcelona Brides, the set of a film has materialized in front of my eyes, that "Romeo + Juliet" by Baz Luhrmann, which deeply marked the romantic imagination of my generation (who has never dreamed of a Romeo with the face of Leonardo Di Caprio!?!?!). Rebecca hasn't left nothing to chance: first, she took care of finding a worthy location, and what better place than the wonderful Castel de Ben Viure, which with its decadent style has become a perfect setting for our history.
Thanks to Pepe Von Strudel's imagination, tables, balconies and the bouquet have been wound by a tide of red roses and branches of pink pepper. The funniest thing ever: every guest had a water gun as a placeholder... and immediately after the speeches hell broke loose!
Cherry on top: no cake has been cut in this marriage, but a truck food prepared churros with chocolate for the whole party.
